Counseling  for  Married  Couples  &  Parents

We Help Couples & Families Thrive - Not just survive!

You and your family can do more than just survive. You can thrive!

I can help families understand each other's God-given strengths, and how you complement each other to build a strong marriage and family.

We use a 3-Step Process To Help You Maximize Your Relationships

To help maximize all of your relationships, our proven method is very simple yet profound.

Step 1. We equip YOU to discover YOUR own unique Temperament by use of a proprietary Temperament Analysis Profile (TAP)

Step 2. We then equip you to recognize, understand, and value the unique temperaments of your spouse, family members, and others in your relationships.

Step 3. We equip you with insights and information to help you blend your differences with the others in your life in order to strengthen those relationships - especially your relationship with your spouse and your children.

We provide tools

We provide tools to bring about this process. These resources help families understand their God-given strengths, blend their differences, and build supportive home environments. Our tools include three critical elements necessary to transform relationships.

  • They are rooted in the truth of God’s Word.

  • They provide objective data about and for each individual.

  • They outline and help integrate a purposeful, personalized application of the data.

What happens when families use the process and tools

The process and the tools work together to achieve three powerful results.

Result #1.  Each individual or spouse develops a deeper understanding of their own temperament and how their temperament behaves and reacts in the various situations in their daily life.

The MPDI Temperament Analysis Profile (TAP) is thoughtfully designed to give you meaningful, personalized insight into your unique temperament. The process is simple and convenient, beginning with a short online questionnaire that most people complete in 15 minutes or less.

Once completed, you’ll receive a detailed, easy-to-understand report by email—ranging from 7 to 21 pages, depending on your assessment. This personalized summary is built from objective data gathered through our carefully developed behavioral questionnaire, offering insights tailored specifically to you.

Our assessment has been refined and tested with over 1,000 individuals to ensure it is both accurate and user-friendly. In fact, when it was evaluated over a six-month period in partnership with a licensed marriage and family counselor, the feedback indicated an accuracy rate of nearly 95%.

Result #2. Families understand that each person "speaks" their own unique temperament "language."

Too often, people easily accept that division in families is normal. They don't realize that, with some information and some effort, it is possible to blend with their spouse and other family members. You will be provided with foundational information explaining why differences within families are God’s design and how they can be a powerful tool for building a strong family. By sharing a hopeful vision of what a strong and unified family can become, we challenge the idea that division in the home is simply something to accept. It doesn’t have to be that way. Through our profiles and other resources, we seek to encourage and guide families toward something better. These resources provide a solid foundation that supports both practical equipping and meaningful coaching.

At the heart of it all is a desire to help people understand the truth of Scripture in a clear and life-giving way—so they can confidently apply those truths in their everyday lives and experience the strength and unity God intended for the home.

Result #3.    Families move forward

Now armed with the insights necessary to build a stronger family, practical action steps are developed, and if desired, a series of one-on-one sessions can be arranged in person or via Zoom calls.
